The Orthodox Forum of Edison/Highland Park presents Dean Rachel Friedman, Founder of Lamdeinu, on her lecture Through the Prism of Law and Narrative: Yibbum, Chalitzah and the Biblical Woman, Saturday night, December 17, 8:00pm at Congregation Ahavas Achim.

Her lecture will be about the experience of levirate marriage for women as described in Torah and Tanakh. Dean Friedman is a noted teacher, author and lecturer as well as the Founder of Lamdeinu, the center for Jewish learning in Teaneck, New Jersey.
