Please join us for an exciting, fun, and meaningful evening!
All women and girls are welcome.
Dear sisters of Etz Ahaim,
We are coming together to share in a brachot (blessings) ceremony, asking HaShem to watch over of all of Am Yisrael.
Come join us for the beautiful brachot (blessings) ceremony followed by a brainstorming session to plan our future Sisterhood events.
Please read the beautiful explanation of this ceremony from Rabbanit Sara Tal:
“In recent years, a custom has emerged where groups of people gather for a meal to bless and thank HaShem. This gathering holds great importance as it not only fosters a sense of community, but it also has the potential to bring about salvation. The salvation is a result of the Brachot and the amount of merit we receive from HaShem, particularly for the amount of ‘Amens’ we say. While salvation may not always be immediate, the merit generated from these meals undoubtedly garner heavenly defense for the participants and the individual for whom the merit of the feast is intended. However, it is crucial to remember that the primary focus of these feasts is to praise and bless HaShem, with any secondary benefits being secondary. Additionally, it is fitting for these feasts to include the merit of Klal Yisrael and Eretz Yisrael, not solely the merit of the individuals.”
Refreshments will be served.
Please RSVP via email to sisters@etzahaim.org
